3️⃣Key Storylines for Today
The 1-5 Pistons look to get on track after a slow start to the season. They’ll be facing a 3-3 Nets team, who have won their last two games, getting the best of the Bulls and Grizzlies. The Hawks and Pelicans pulled off one of the biggest trades of the offseason when Atlanta sent Dejounte Murray to New Orleans. Unfortunately, for the Pelicans and Murray, he suffered a fractured hand and won’t be taking the court against his former team. They’ll also be without CJ McCollum (adductor strain) and Herbert Jones (shoulder). The Hawks are banged up as well and will be without De’Andre Hunter (knee) and Bogdan Bogdanovic (hamstring). Despite these absences, plenty of star power will still be on the court with Trae Young, Zion Williamson, and Brandon Ingram all in action tonight on NBA League Pass.Luka Dončić, Kyrie Irving, and the Mavericks will host the Magic, who are still adjusting to life without Paolo Banchero (oblique) for at least the next four weeks. They fell to Cleveland 120-109 on Friday, in their first game without him this season, but will work to get one in the win column against Dallas.
