New Delhi: Kagiso Rabada, the talented fast bowler from South Africa, delivered a remarkable ball to dismiss Mushfiqur Rahim, the wicketkeeper-batsman from Bangladesh, on Day 3 of the first Test match in Dhaka on Wednesday, October 23. Rabada followed up his impressive performance by taking the wickets of Mahmudul Hasan Joy and Mushfiqur Rahim, restricting the hosts to 106/5 in the first session of the match.
Talking about the dismissal, the wicket came in the 32nd over of Bangladesh’s second innings. Kagiso Rabada bowled a fill-length ball that angled in from over the wicket and swung as Rahim tried to drive from the off-stump line. The right-handed batter was beaten by the pace as the ball skidded, entering into the bat-pad gap to bamboozle Mushfiqur Rahim and rattled onto the middle stump. There was no foot movement from Rahim to counter the 136kmph delivery.
