New Delhi: Anshul Kamboj, a talented cricketer from Haryana, has overcome numerous obstacles on his journey to success. Initially, he had to travel long distances to Karnal for practice sessions, but as challenges piled up, his family made the difficult decision to relocate to the city. Thanks to his dedication and hard work, Anshul has now made history in the world of cricket.

In fact, fast bowler Anshul Kamboj of Karnal district of Haryana has taken ten wickets in an innings in the Ranji Trophy and since then he has been in the news. Anshul Kamboj is originally from Fazilpur village of Indri in Karnal. He was given a grand welcome when he reached the academy in Karnal on Wednesday.

He has become the first player from Haryana and the third player in Ranji cricket to achieve the feat of taking 10 wickets in a single innings in the Ranji Trophy. Anshul thrashed the batsmen of the Kerala team at Chaudhary Bansi Lal Stadium in Lahli, Rohtak. Before this, Anshul has played Under-19, IPS and Duleep Trophy.

Indian all-rounder Anshul Kamboj was snapped up by Chennai Super Kings for a whopping Rs 3.4 crore at the IPL 2025 auction in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Monday. Starting at a base price of Rs 20 lakh, Kamboj sparked a bidding war, initially with Delhi Capitals, before Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians joined the fray, propelling his price above Rs 3 crore. Ultimately, the Super Kings secured Kamboj’s services.
