Australia's star batsman Steve Smith maintained his impressive form by registering his 34th Test century during the Boxing Day Test against India at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground. This century holds special significance as it marks his 11th century against the Indian team, a record-breaking feat as no other player has scored more Test centuries against India. Smith's 34th Test century sees him tie for seventh place on the all-time list for most Test centuries. He now shares this spot with cricket legends such as Younis Khan, Sunil Gavaskar, and Brian Lara, each of whom made an indelible mark on the game.
