The incident occurred on the first day of the match when Kohli had a confrontation with 19-year-old debutant Sam Konstas. As Kohli was walking, he inadvertently collided with Konstas, sparking a heated argument between the two players. The tense situation was eventually resolved with the intervention of Usman Khawaja and the umpire, bringing an end to the dispute.

Following the altercation, a former Australian cricketer slammed Virat Kohli for instigating the incident but has now apologized for these words.

“Kohli has built his whole career on arrogance. Suddenly, he identified that in a debutant and seemed to resent it,” said Kerry O’Keeffe about Virat Kohli following the incident between Kohli and Sam Konstas.

I think when he saw another player showing swagger like him, he got a bit annoyed and reacted in that fashion.
