Dear ST reader,

Singapore’s most decorated para-athlete Yip Pin Xiu is not slowing down one bit, even at the age of 32. The swimmer shares some inner thoughts on her incredible journey as she prepares for her fifth Paralympic outing in Paris.

Meanwhile, athletes in Singapore have welcomed the measures announced by the Government to make sport a viable and attractive career path, like higher allowances, CPF top-ups, undergraduate scholarships and post-retirement options.
